This exhibition was about slowing down and looking at what we usually do not observe from the first time we see a painting or a photograph. It’s about being intimate with artworks and paintings. It’s not just noticing them for their beauty but also for their story. Hence, if you would look closer at some of my images and paintings, you would notice a darkness about them even though they are aesthetically pleasing. A weird and awkward feeling to them…
